2005 Woodstock Shiraz Cabernet

The Collett family's Woodstock label is one of McLaren Vale's most dependable - especially for reds. Though the richer, rounder, softer shiraz is clearly the dominant partner here, the cabernet provides some black berry and herbal notes and a balancing lick of dry tannin towards the finish. A very handy wine now ready to enjoy. ★★★★½
